Workshop on Understanding Lateral Violence (LV) and Listening Circles

1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m

Lateral violence is a result of unresolved generational trauma connected to the experience of colonization, which is when members of an oppressed population take on the role of the oppressor and act violently toward each other. This workshop will help you understand the root causes and experience how listening circles provide a safe, structured learning forum to foster healthy relationships in families and workplaces.
