Motivational Interviewing Level 1
MI Level 1 – Online
This online course will use Zoom for an interactive, lively training. There will be four 3-hour Zoom sessions. Each session will combine a variety of learning activities including mini (really mini!) presentations, small group and individual activities, watching and analyzing video examples, and live practice with partners. There will also be some lively fun activities to keep us energized.
A workbook will be sent in advance (via email) which must be printed off and brought to each of the training sessions. A pre-workshop information worksheet is required to be completed prior to the first session. Attendance and participation in all sessions for the entire time allotment is required to receive a certificate of completion.
A stable Internet connection is essential as is a computer with microphone and video capabilities (phones are possible but not recommended). Basic familiarity with Zoom software is recommended in order to participate fully in this online workshop (A link to an Introduction to Zoom can be sent if you are not familiar with it – it’s not hard to learn!).
